PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This class is for the SKILLS PORTION ONLY of your AHA certification. You must have already completed the online portion of your AHA course and be prepared to present your Online Completion Certificate at least 24 hours before the scheduled skills class. Failure to provide proof of online course completion will result in forfeiture of your skills testing appointment with NO REFUND provided. What to Expect This hands-on skills verification session will allow you to demonstrate the critical CPR techniques you learned in your online training. Our certified AHA instructors will evaluate your performance and provide helpful feedback. What You'll Need Your AHA Online Course Completion Certificate (must be submitted 24 hours before class) A copy of your certificate from your online portion Comfortable clothing that allows for kneeling and movement Photo ID for verification purposes Skills You'll Demonstrate Adult, child, and infant CPR techniques Proper use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Choking relief procedures Team-based scenarios (if applicable to your certification level) Process Submit your Online Completion Certificate at least 24 hours before class Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in Demonstrate required skills under instructor supervision Receive your official AHA certification upon successful completion Certification Upon successful completion of the skills verification, you will receive your official American Heart Association certification valid for two years.
